This 3 bedroom, 3 bath, 1960’s house at the tip of the peninsula offered the most picturesque lakefront living. Exterior changes made including new siding, windows, front door, added portico, and fresh paint brought this home back to life.
Its great open concept required no floor plan remodel. Wood was added between the beams to add texture and warmth to the space. We replaced the wallpaper and carpet with the coastal and airy backdrop of the light bamboo floors, white walls, and soft grey stained doors. Track lights were added throughout the main living on the beams to add light without interrupting the simplicity of the plank and beam ceiling. Although the layout of the kitchen was not changed, the kitchen was gutted for a full remodel. A bar countertop was added for more seating. Adding plank ceilings and board and batten walls to the office and bunk room, with the touch of the bamboo shades, gives these already bright spaces all the coastal charm.
